Hardworkingwoman.com is a company dedicated to the working woman, whether they are a stay at home mother, working professional, wife or you name it. HWW.com sells cool, hip t-shirts, blogs about issues important to working mothers, and provides a community to help women share their experiences of being a hardworking woman!

Prometheon used a variety of open source software components to drive the HWW.com community of sites. Wordpress is used to drive the Gabfest website where members can discuss issues, OS Commerce is was customized to run the t-shirt store, and finally, Gallery2 was customized to provide an area where pictures can be uploaded with the greatest of easy no matter what type of computer the HWW member is using.

St. Francis de Sales Catholic Parish

Located in Lake Zurich, IL. the community of St. Francis de Sales Parish came into existence on June 27, 1948 when Lake Zurich became a mission territory. Fr. George Ballweber of Buffalo Grove celebrated the first Mass held in Lake Zurich in the Ela Town Hall. Due to the hard work and sacrifices of the original 97 Catholic families in town, funds began to accumulate for the building of a church.

Prometheon installed and customized the open source content management system Mambo to meet their needs of a beautiful, easy to update website that had two distinctive looks for both their Parish and their school.

Prometheon built Major’s a high quality website built on open source software that was able to able to help their staff keep up with their ever changing inventory, and provide prospective customers with accurate information on pertinent items related to their purchase.

Location in Hinsdale, IL, Tiburon Homes is a custom residential home builder. Since opening their doors in 1999, they’ve established a reputation for creating for creating beautifully crafted, practical, architecturally distinctive homes.

Prometheon has helped Tiburon minimize their IT costs efficient operation, by using email, calendaring, web and backup solutions based on such open source applications such Thunderbird, Sunbird, and iFolder. In addition to these basic, yet critical applications, Prometheon has helped Tiburon build an aesthetically beautiful website that is reflective of the beauty in their distinctive homes to help drive customers to their business.
